comic strip #3

we are learning to represent a te reo message through visual language here is my comic

kea patrol

I strongly believe Kea patrol should be for juniors! Most juniors can't cross the
road by themselves. It would also be easier if there was a zebra crossing.

Firstly, Kea patrol should be for juniors because most seniors can cross the
road by themselves. Seniors probably won't muck around by walking slowly
and talking across the road and most juniors would.

Secondly, I think Kea patrol should be for juniors because if there was no road
patrol at all, the juniors could copy the seniors and run across the road and
they could get hit.

Thirdly, Another reason we don't not need Kea patrol is the school could just
get a Zebra crossing and then you could cross safely at any time and you
would not have to wait for the teachers to be allowed to go down the hill.

In conclusion, I think Kea patrol should be for juniors because they could copy
seniors if there wasn’t Kea patrol. The school could just get a zebra crossing,
and most seniors know how to cross the road on their own.

review mana the spirit of Polynesia

On Friday last week Bernard Mangakahia came to perform Mana The Spirit Of
Polynesia. This show was about dancing. I think the show was alright because
I did not like all the dances and stories.

The part I did not like was the Māori part. It had a poi dance and a haka. I did
not like these because the people in my class have had to learn about Māori
for ages. The part that I liked the most was the Indian hula hoop dance. The
hula hoop dance was about making animals out of hula hoops like putting the
hula hoops around you and making wings or a snake or some other animal.
The hula hoop dance was not exciting but it was pretty cool.

There were some other dances like a Hip Hop dance and a Hawaiian dance.
Bernard also told some stories like when he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and
some stories about his kids and parents.  I would possibly want him to come
back if he did different routines.
